Summer Savory


Repels insects in the gardens which makes it a candidate for companion plantings.

Used as a peppery flavoring for salads, soups, stuffing, sausage, and gravy.

Surface sow as it requires light to germinate.

70 days. Satureja hortensis. Annual. Plant produces a peppery flavor leaves. Excellent for flavoring cabbage, beans, peas, and lentil dishes. It often called the bean herb.
